Dear Members of OPC,
Blessed be the Lord God! We are so thankful for your commitment to Ogden Presbyterian and for the work of Christ in our lives.
Stewardship: what does it really mean? It means understanding and using who we are, what we have, what we do, individually and corporately, to carry out the mission for which we are sent. The kingdom of God is like a mustard seed. Out of one little seed, one small talent, good things grow. In looking for the big trees, we may overlook the small things that can make a difference. By thinking our gifts must be perfect, we overlook important ways we can serve. Stewardship asks us, not are our talents big enough, but how do we faithfully use the talents we have, no mater how insignificant they may seem.
Please carefully consider all of your gifts; financial, as well as the gifts of your time and talents. Please look for opportunities throughout the year to coordinate your gifts with needs in our community. P@W- Presbyterians at work will continuously strive to grow and nurture our community. If God comes first in our lives, then giving to God should also come first. Putting things first means giving first, then managing the rest of our income in a way by which we will still pay all our bills.
Please return your pledge card to the Stewardship Team by November 24th, 2009, either by placing them in the Stewardship box in the Fellowship Hall or by mailing them to the church.
At the top of this page are links to PDF files (Presbyterians at Work, and Pledge Cards) you can download and print, which can be completed and returned to Church at your convenience.
Hope, Faith and Love,
The Stewardship Team at OPC
