Sunday, February 24th, Ogden Presbyterian Church celebrated their first Sunday Night Live, an alternative worship service. It began at with a delicious dinner.

Following this, the worship service began. Led in song by Dana and Rebecca Krebs from Risen Christ Lutheran Church in Fairport, the congregation sang and clapped their way through several songs. Some of the congregation bounced their way through the songs, as the younger children came to the front to wield maracas, tambourines, shakers and other instruments provided for their use.

Volunteers from the congregation illustrated two psalms in a short skit directed by Rebecca Mason. The Mason extended family gave a wonderful rendition of “This Little Light of Mine” in glorious harmony. A computer presentation provided the congregation with the words to the songs, lovely visuals and a video that formed the message of the evening - Rhythm.

Rhythm was a short subject video, reminding everyone that God is the music that runs through our lives and we can all tune to that music and make a glorious harmony.

On leaving that evening, one young woman remarked, “That was wonderful! I want to come again”.
