Ogden Presbyterian Church currently has approximately 263 members. Our congregation is diverse and covers the spectrum from retired members to families with young children. The congregation is also theologically diverse ranging from liberal to conservative thinking on theological and social issues. This mixture of membership provides a challenge as well as an opportunity to serve the spiritual needs from pre-school children to adults who have been retired for several years.
Our congregation has a solid and well functioning committee system. The Session,
Trustees, Deacons as well as several special task force committees meet often,
assess the needs of the congregation and make plans to meet those needs. As an
example, when it became clear that our church offices and Sunday school
classrooms were no longer adequate for a growing church and Sunday School, the
Session led the congregation in the plans to construct an addition to our church
to meet those needs.
