Our Congregation

OPC also has a very active women's group that meets regularly for fellowship and to conduct fund raising activities for the church. Within the church, their funds are used for refurbishing the kitchen, sponsoring children for summer camps and special needs as they arise.  An example is sponsoring three of our members who are joining the Presbytery delegation going to New Orleans for Katrina relief.   In addition to the regular mission work of the church the women contribute to needy organizations in the inner city.

Music is very important in the worship service at OPC. In addition to the adult choir, there is a children's choir and a bell choir. The congregation enjoys singing and tends to prefer the more familiar and traditional hymns, although it is willing to explore the less familiar on occasion.
